Letter: State property tax code saw no serious changes

Once again our Wyoming State Legislators have showed their arrogance, greed and indifference to Wyoming property owners.

After all of their talk last year to make serious changes to the Wyoming Property Tax Code, what did they get done this year? It appears they only made changes to the Property Tax Refund Program that only targets a small group of people, and that in 2024 there will be a voter ballot for changes to how a property is classified.

That is all that they could get done? Last year, our legislators threw us under the bus with their usury property tax increases! This year, they backed the bus up, to drive over us, again! Shame on all of them!

The Wyoming governor needs to call a special session right now, so that Property Tax Reform will get done now! These elected people are supposed to look out for their Wyoming citizens.

Instead, they talk a lot, but nothing really gets done. You can be sure that the Park County coffers are extremely full now, and will bust at the seams, this year! This rampant greed and indifference are shameful! Thank you for your time.
