What a radical concept - Running for office based upon your record of success versus on the discussion of your opponent's failures- real or imagined. Of course that might make some speeches rather short based upon the lack of success stories. We seem to have moved to a negative approach to solving problems, hoping that somehow the problems we have will go away if we ignore them or simply place the blame on someone else. I wish it were different, where one could express their beliefs without being attacked as a radicals non-believer (in the view of the party and party leaders - if you wish to call them leaders).
