The Cody Legion team is now 1-1 at a tournament in Belgrade, Mont., after its first two days of play.

Facing a familiar foe in their game on Thursday, the Cubs defeated the Emmanuel Halos out of Billings 13-0.
Cody got things going right away, putting up five runs in the first inning. During the frame Elijah Leyva and Hayden Bronnenberg had singles, Jared Grenz a double and Devyn Engdahl a triple.
A triple by Heston Williams scored two more in the second, with a third run coming on an error to make it 8-0. In the third, Cody's lone run was a solo homer by Jared Grenz over the left field fence.
The Cubs final three runs came in the fourth.
Cody had 13 hits. Heston Williams went 2-2, and Leyva and Jared Grenz 2-3 to lead the team.
Engdahl gave up just three hits during his five innings on the mound, while the Cody did its part as well and turned a couple double plays.
NW Premier 6, Cody 5
The Cubs let one slip away late in a 6-5 loss to Northwest Premier, Idaho on Friday afternoon.
Cody led until the final inning when Premier scored two runs to take the win.
The Cubs took a 1-0 lead in the third, loading the bases and scoring one on a sac fly by Tristan Blatt. In the fourth another run came in on a double by Cody Phillips.
Cody took advantage of an error, two hit batters and single by Tyler Grenz in the fourth to score two runs. The Cubs final run came on a bunt by Tyler Grenz in the sixth.
Premier trailed 5-1 going into the bottom of the sixth, but scored three runs to make it 5-4. Cody went down in order in the seventh before three singles by the Idaho team clinched the win.
At the plate, Phillips went 2-2 and Tyler Grenz 2-4.
Blatt took the loss, giving up two runs on three hits through 1 inning. Heston Williams started the game and went 5 1/3 innings, giving up four runs on seven hits.
Cody takes on Laurel and South Fremont Idaho on Saturday.
