Individual segments of the recent Buffalo Bill Centennial Symposium will be shown on C-Span, Sept. 2-5.

Commemorating the 100th anniversary of the founding of the Buffalo Bill Memorial Association and William F. Cody’s death in 1917, the symposium of experts and scholars met at the Buffalo Bill Center, Aug. 2-4.

Several talks will be shown, with some repeating, over the Labor Day weekend at different times of the day. 

The featured speeches are: Buffalo Bill and Frontier Myth; Lakota Indian Performers in Wild West Shows; Preserving Buffalo Bill’s Legacy; and Buffalo Bill’s Wild West Child Performers.
