Judith Ann “Annie” Painter, 80, died at West Park Hospital’s Long Term Care Center on April 27, 2019.
Annie was born on June 13, 1938, to Lowell Edward Painter and Janet (Easton) Painter in Billings.
She grew up in the Red Lodge, Hardin and Laurel areas, graduating from Laurel High School in 1956. Her love of helping others led her to pursue nursing as a profession.
She attended Eastern Montana College in Billings, graduating with an Associates Degree in Nursing in 1959. She then attended MSU in Bozeman, graduating with a Bachelor of Science Degree in 1960.
After graduation, she worked as a Registered Nurse in Billings (1960-1964), then California (1964-1978). After moving to Cody in 1978, she worked as an RN at West Park Hospital until 2002, when an on-the-job injury forced her retirement.
Cremation has taken place, and private urn burial to follow in Riverside-Graham Cemetery. Per her request, no services are planned.
