William “Bill” Reed passed away peacefully at Spirit Mountain Hospice on June 13, 2019, at the age of 89. He was surrounded by family when he went home to meet the Lord.
Bill was born in Fulton, Ind., on July 8, 1929, to Kline and Letha Reed, and many years later moved his family to Cody, his favorite town in the West. He owned Stockmen’s Supply, and soon discovered a passion for construction and real estate.
Bill was preceded in death by his parents, brother Don Reed, first wife Phyllis Reed and son-in-law Tom Parker.
He is survived by his wife of 38 years, Katherine, sisters-in-law Gerry Reed, Florida; India (Tony) Repass and Dawn (John) Repass, Cody; Jessica Repass, Idaho; brothers-in-law Ray (Bev) Repass and Dirk Repass, Idaho; and Cole Repass, Nevada.
Bill also was survived by his children Linda Parker, Casper, Jack (Alexa) Reed, Montana; Bill Reed, Worland; Rick Reed, Cody; Kyle Reed, Montana; and Matthew Reed, Cody; as well as 15 grandchildren, four great-grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews.
A private family service will be held on Wednesday, June 19, at Riverside Cemetery.
