Letha Mae (Eaton) Garner

Letha Mae (Eaton) Garner

Letha Mae (Eaton) Garner, 85, of Powell, joined loved ones in heaven on May 20, 2019, at West Park Hospital in Cody with her family by her side.

Letha was born May 9, 1933, in Butte, Mont., to Walter and Bertha Garner. She lived in Butte and Wilmington, N.C., throughout her life. She stayed very close to her parents and all four kids. She loved life to the fullest, and she was always happy and positive.

She raised her children on her own and worked multiple jobs to do so. When she walked into a room she did so with confidence, beauty, strength and power, but everyone that knew her knew she had a huge, loving, fun, kind, giving heart.

Letha radiated her beauty and strength inside and out. Letha worked in the Copper mines in Butte, sold Avon and drove school bus to name a few of her careers to provide for her family.

She loved camping, fishing, hunting and crocheting outfits for all her grandbabies and taking rides as long as she was with family and/or friends.

Letha had a wonderful long life and she impacted many hearts and lives. God now has her home. We miss and love her and she is smiling and dancing in heaven.

Letha was preceded in death by daughter Nannette Marez, and parents Walter and Bertha Garner.

Surviving family includes children Ben Garner, Debbie James and Cathy Thomas, nine grandchildren, 27 great-grandchildren, two great-great-grandsons and sister Annette Lawhorne.

An online guestbook is available at BallardFH.com.
