Lightning-caused wildfire contained southeast of Cody

A thunderstorm that roared through Cody and other parts of Park County late Friday sparked a wildfire, and also carried the first significant precipitation in more than a month.

After the storm rolled through late Friday, Sept. 28, the Sage Creek Fire flared to about 1,300 acres, according to the BLM.
