East Yellowstone Trout Unlimited invites you to help at the 2019 Fish Rescue. Each year thousands of trout and wild fish are entrapped in irrigation canals. TU volunteers search drained canal for stranded trout and wild fish. Once captured, these fish are returned to the river where they ventured from.

We meet at 8:00 am in the Rocky Mountain Sports parking and carpool to the worksite. You'll be out until about 3:00 pm working in the canals with nets and buckets, capturing and handling small to very large trout or onshore transferring buckets of fish to the nearby holding tank. If you are interested in joining us, please contact East Yellowstone TU President at 307-921-8591. We are planning our rescue effort for Friday, Oct 11th; Saturday, Oct 12th; Sunday, Oct 13th; and Tuesday, Oct 22nd. Hope to see you there!
