Shoppers will be able to purchase everything from shoes to a presidential inauguration gown this weekend at the fourth annual Encore closet treasures sale.
“People from all over the country have donated clothes,” said Carol Armstrong, assistant to organizers Ann Simpson and Marge Goppert.
“We're featuring gently used closet treasures, including large sizes,” she added.
Proceeds from the sale will benefit several local organizations including the Buffalo Bill Historical Center's proposed Costume Institute of the American West, Cody High Style Fashion Show, Yellowstone Behavioral Health Center and Family Wellness Fund.
Sale items include a wide variety of shoes, bags, jewelry, vintage clothing, mink coat, and wedding and ball gowns, including one worn to George H.W. Bush's inaugural ball.
Linens and designer drapes also will be for sale.
“Come find a treasure. There's something for everyone,” Armstrong said.
The event will begin at 10 a.m.-5 p.m. Friday, June 20, with a preview sale. People can pay $25 to have their first choice of items.
The sale continues 10 a.m.-4 p.m. Saturday and noon-3 p.m. Sunday. There is no cover charge either day.
For more information call Simpson, 527-7843, or Goppert, 587-3312.
