Cody selected for outdoor products event

Cody will host Wyoming Outdoor Product Days on Aug. 25-27, according to the Wyoming Business Council.

The event will bring the state's outdoor product manufacturers, along with state and national outdoor media, for demonstrations of Wyoming products.

Firearms demonstrations will be at the Cody Shooting Complex.

Fishing equipment companies will have demonstrations in streams and rivers near Yellowstone Park.

“Buffalo Bill was the original outdoorsman, so this is a perfect place for exhibitors who manufacture Wyoming products to bring their wares,” Park County Travel Council director Claudia Wade said. “We'll be able to show a great shooting complex, fly fishing opportunities, landscapes and wildlife.”

Cost is $100 per Wyoming-based company, which includes all meals, range rental or time fishing as well as receptions. A block of rooms has been reserved for Wyoming companies at a discount.
