‘Daffodil Days' flower sale ends Friday

Orders for the annual bloom-buying spree “Park County Daffodil Days” to benefit the American Cancer Society must be placed by Friday, Feb. 15.

The blooms will be delivered in time for Easter.

Barb Emmert, chairman of Cody's Daffodil Days, says a 10-stem bouquet of daffodils is $10, or $15 in a blue acrylic vase.

Again this year, a Boyd's teddy bear is available for delivery with a bouquet of daffodils for $25.

Bouquets also may be purchased to be delivered anonymously to cancer patients at hospitals, treatment centers and hospices.

“It's amazing how this surprise gift of flowers will brighten the days of patients who receive them,” Emmert said.
