Cody's American Legion baseball team continued to improve during the Simpson Memorial Tournament last weekend.

“We showed improvement,” coach Bart Grenz said. “The kids just have to keep building every day. They're showing more confidence with each inning we play.”

The Cubs went 0-6 during the tournament but had several bright spots and came close to winning their first game of the year.

“As soon as we learn to play with confidence and attitude we'll see another big step in our level of play,” Grenz said.

The Cubs play Worland on Tuesday at home at 5:30 and 7:30 p.m.
