Regina M. Becker, 85, of Wisconsin Rapids, Wis., died Feb. 28, 2004, at Riverview Manor in Wisconsin Rapids where she had been a resident since December 1998.

Mrs. Becker was born March 20, 1918, in Dickinson, N.D., to Casper and Eva (Matz) Kuntz. She moved to Milwaukee as a young girl with her parents because of her father's job with the railroad.

She married Alfred B. Becker on Oct. 18, 1941, at Grace Lutheran Church in Milwaukee. He died Nov. 30, 1979.

After their marriage, they lived in Milwaukee, later moving to the town of McMillan in Marathon County, Wis., in 1948.

Mrs. Becker was employed in the laundry department of St. Joseph's Hospital for many years until her retirement. She enjoyed playing bingo, traveling and seeing the mountains of Wyoming.

She is survived by sons James (Theresa) Becker of Janesville, Wis., Richard (Margaret) Becker of Cody, Ronald (Lori) Becker of Stratford, Wis., and daughter Beverly Stoflet of Wisconsin Rapids, nine grandchildren, 21 great-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.

Mrs. Becker was preceded in death by her parents, husband Al, four brothers and three sisters.

Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Thursday at Rembs/Kundinger Funeral Home in Marshfield, Wis. Burial will be at Brooklawn Memory Gardens Cemetery in Richfield.
